Brief Bio:
I'm S.E. Beebe. The S.E. is short for Sarah Elizabeth. I was born on a lovely spring day, and raised by a happy family. I went to a catholic high school and a catholic college, where I stumbled into a life of theatre. I skirted with the idea of continuing forever, but I can't change who I am.
I've been a storyteller my whole life. Just ask my mother about the tale of only being allowed to use yellow paper. I love words, and books (especially bindings, don't ask me why). Telling tall tales turned to typing tales, and here I am.
That was pretty off topic, but I kept it short.
Wordy Bio:
I was born Sarah Elizabeth Beebe on a Tuesday in April. Or was it Thursday? I'm not sure.
I was a very accomplished liar as a child, but not in the lying sense, more of an exaggerated story telling sense. Which lead to being the best fiction writer in my class from an early age. I loved telling stories, and making them go on and on and on. (Once, in second grade, I had to write a two page story. I wrote it, then got permission to write a sequel, and then another and another. And I still finished first among my peers. I was a nut case).
I knew from the age of 11 I wanted to write for a living. In high school, I met a publishing partner in crime, which really pushed my headlong into the whole writing thing. But she also threw me into musical theatre, and when I got a good scholarship to the college nearby, I went there and majored in theatre arts.
Sadly, that meant writing took a backburner. Or at least novels. I moved on to screenwriting and playwriting and short stories, and half-assed attempts at NaNoWriMo.
Since college, I've moved on to the 'real world' of tireless jobs which suck the marrow from the bones of my creativity/muse. But I'm also here, lurking and reading and writing.
